The lab is identifying, characterizing and targeting new signaling pathways controlling cell movement and survival in inflammatory and neoplastic diseases. Our previous work revealed the crucial biological and clinical importance of Lyn and PI3-kinase-regulated signaling pathways in normal leukocytes during inflammation and malignant cells in leukemia. Our ultimate goal is to identify compounds or procedures that can reduce inflammation and suppress the linkage between inflammation and solid tumors.

Many of the physicians who have medical staff privileges to practice medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center are independent physicians, and not employees or agents of the hospital. These independent physicians bill separately for their services. You should contact your physician to determine their status and billing practices.
