Associate Professor, Biomedical Sciences

The research of Masahide Tone, PhD, focuses on developing new cancer therapeutic strategies by controlling the immune responses. Tone is interested in research on activating the anti-tumor immunity. His work also investigates transcriptional and post-transcriptional regulation in T-cells including Treg cells and antigen presenting cells, to understand regulation of the immune responses.
