The research of Bruce L. Gewertz, MD, focuses on human factors in delivery of health care and the distribution of surgical service. His clinical interests include cerebrovascular disease, especially intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring and outcome analysis, aortic aneurysmal disease, and mesenteric ischemic syndromes.
